Bvlgari and the Louvre
Bvlgari at The Louvre

Bvlgari at The Louvre set the stage for an extraordinary example of luxury cultural collaborations. At Guidon Studio, we’re excited to share the partnership between the Musée du Louvre and heritage jewelry house Bvlgari, which brings the prestigious Torlonia Collection to Paris. Recognized as the world’s most significant private collection of ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, the Torlonia masterpieces are being shown outside of Italy for the first time in history, marking a cultural milestone.

The exhibition, hosted in the opulent Apartment of Anne of Austria at the Louvre—a space typically reserved for the museum’s permanent collection—celebrates Bvlgari’s 140th anniversary with over 60 timeless sculptures. Curated by Prince Alessandro Torlonia, this rare collection showcases centuries of sculptural excellence and highlights his visionary commitment to sharing private art with the public. His acquisition of Villa Albani in 1886 transformed the collection into a cultural beacon, bridging personal legacy with universal appreciation.

Visitors will enter through the Salle des Caryatides, where works from the Louvre’s collection are interwoven with the Torlonia sculptures. The contrast and harmony between different artistic epochs reflect a curated dialogue between heritage and innovation—much like the refined storytelling we aim to achieve in our interiors.

This event is more than an exhibition; it exemplifies the enduring synergy between luxury cultural collaborations, design, and historical preservation. As designers, we find immense inspiration in the way such projects bring art and history into the contemporary world, reminding us of the profound role narrative and craftsmanship play in creating timeless interiors.

If you’re in Paris before the exhibition closes in November, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience a rare blend of history and elegance.

At Guidon Studio, we continue to draw inspiration from partnerships that merge legacy and design, reinforcing our dedication to crafting spaces that are not only beautiful but deeply meaningful.

Warm regards,

The Guidon Studio Team
