COS SS/25 Show at the Dionysso Marble Quarry

COS continues to inspire us at Guidon Studio with their powerful fusion of place, form, and minimalism, as seen in their Spring/Summer 2025 runway show held at the Dionysso Marble Quarry in Athens. This historic site—source of the Parthenon’s marble—offered more than a stunning backdrop; it set the stage for a quiet but bold dialogue between antiquity and modern elegance. As models moved through the cavernous space, the collection unfolded as a meditation on timeless design, restraint, and material storytelling.

The women’s collection embodied a poetic sensibility, with flowing silks, sculptural silhouettes, and translucent fabrics that referenced classical sculpture in motion. The men’s looks brought softness to utilitarianism, featuring tailored outerwear and weightless knits in natural tones. One of the standout design details—a marbled print created by pressing flowers onto glass—captured COS’s dedication to refined craft and organic texture.

What resonated with us most was the spatial quality of the show. More than fashion, it was an immersive design experience that underscored the importance of environment in shaping perception. At Guidon Studio, we continually seek this kind of synergy in our work—where architecture, material, and atmosphere come together to tell a deeper story.
