Guidon Studio Explores The Future Perfect Miami at Villa Paula
September 25, 2025

At Guidon Studio, we love exploring spaces that expand the dialogue around design. On our recent visit to The Future Perfect Miami, we discovered just that. Located in Villa Paula—a historic 1920s Cuban consulate and residence in Little Haiti—the new gallery is as much an experience as it is a destination. Known for its rich history and enigmatic reputation, the villa has been transformed into an immersive design environment that is both captivating and thought-provoking.
Walking through Villa Paula, we encountered installations by celebrated designers such as Seungjin Yang, Autumn Casey, Reinaldo Sanguino, Bocci, Jason Koharik, Chris Wolston, Ben Barber, Lindsey Adelman, Michael Anastassiades, and Volker Haug. Each work was thoughtfully integrated into the villa’s original architecture, creating a dialogue between artistry and history. Every room unfolded as a vignette, inviting us to slow down and experience design as a living narrative. As interior designers, we were reminded of the power of seeing work in context, where materials, light, and story converge to create meaning.
Our visit to Villa Paula left us inspired by its balance of the supernatural and the sublime, where heritage meets contemporary design with striking originality. We believe The Future Perfect Miami will become a cornerstone in the city’s creative landscape, sparking conversations that redefine how we experience interior environments. For us at Guidon Studio, it was more than a gallery visit—it was a reminder of the transformative power of design when history and innovation are woven together.
Warm Regards,
