Design Miami Paris

Design Miami.Paris returned to the elegant L’hôtel de Maisons for its third edition, reaffirming Paris as a global destination for collectible design. Running from October 21–26, 2025, and held in tandem with Art Basel Paris, the fair presented its largest gallery and Design at Large program to date. Historic interiors met contemporary vision across the 18th-century mansion, creating a remarkable dialogue between eras. This year’s edition reflected a powerful intersection of artistry, craftsmanship, and material exploration — themes that continue to influence the ever-evolving landscape of interior design.

The fair also celebrated excellence through its Best of Show Awards, spotlighting galleries and designers whose works embodied innovation and heritage. Yves Macaux Gallery (Brussels) received Best Gallery Presentation for its Viennese masterpieces, including Josef Hoffmann’s brass vessel and Adolf Loos’ longcase clock — pieces that bridged ornamental exuberance and early modernist restraint. James de Wulf (Los Angeles) earned Best Design at Large Presentation for his multisensory Resonating Ping Pong Table, blending sound, form, and function into a sculptural experience. Meanwhile, Friedman Benda (New York/Los Angeles) was recognized with Best Contemporary Work for Adam Pendleton’s Extended Form Three, a minimalist yet expressive white onyx table. The Best Historic Work honor went to Galerie Downtown François Laffanour (Paris) for two rare Jean Prouvé designs — striking examples of 20th-century modernism that continue to inspire contemporary makers.

At Guidon Studio, we find the vision behind events like Design Miami.Paris deeply inspiring. The fair’s recognition of both historic icons and forward-thinking creators underscores the dialogue between past and future that defines modern interior design. Each award-winning piece speaks to the balance we seek in our work — where timeless craftsmanship meets innovation, and where materials become storytellers. As we look ahead, these milestones in design remind us that interiors thrive when artistry and purpose coexist in harmony.

Warm Regards,
