Casa Sunrise is a refined luxury interior design project located in Miami, where cultural inspiration meets modern elegance. Drawing inspiration from the organic beauty of the rice terraces in Yuanyang County, China, this award-winning residence brings the rhythm and serenity of nature into a contemporary interior environment.

The design concept centers on the terraces’ fluid forms and layered topography, translating them into an interior experience defined by flow, light, and materiality. Mirrors and reflective surfaces were carefully placed throughout to enhance spatial perception and openness, seamlessly blending architecture and furniture in a visually expansive dialogue.

At the heart of the home, a multifunctional entertainment area combines dining and lounging spaces through innovative furniture layouts and a custom seating island. A thoughtfully designed rug connects this central zone to the living area, using a consistent, earthy color palette anchored by deep greens—a nod to the lush terraces that inspired the design.

Guest bedrooms are calm and understated, finished in neutral tones with delicate natural textures. Meanwhile, the primary bedroom presents a richer palette of cognac, turmeric, and bronze tones. Fluted paneling, bronzed mirrors, and a bold-scale custom rug referencing the rice terraces complete the room, transforming it into a warm, textural escape.

This luxury interior design project embodies the essence of cultural storytelling through form and finish, delivering a tranquil yet dynamic living space that resonates with elegance, depth, and authenticity.
