At Guidon Studio, we believe that design conveys its most powerful stories when it is rooted in its environment. Few places are as evocative as the Dionysso Marble Quarry in Athens. COS selected this ancient site, the source of the stone used to construct the Parthenon, as the dramatic backdrop for its Spring/Summer 2025 runway show. What unfolded was more than just a presentation; it was a thoughtful juxtaposition of enduring history and modern elegance. As models descended into the expansive cavern, the collection was unveiled as more than clothing; it served as a deliberate reflection on form, time, and the quiet strength of minimalism.

COS used this raw, awe-inspiring location to elevate their vision of minimalism with a sense of poetic tension. The women’s designs flowed with controlled grace, featuring draped silks, sculpted forms, and subtle transparencies that echoed classical art reimagined. Meanwhile, the men’s collection redefined utility through tailored softness, showcasing structured sleek outerwear, and airy knits in earthy tones and deep blues. A custom marbled print, created by pressing flowers onto glass, added a touch of organic artistry, reflecting the brand’s commitment to refined details and material storytelling.

This runway was more than fashion—it was spatial design in motion, and a reminder of how environments shape perception. At Guidon Studio, we are inspired by COS’s ability to create immersive experiences rooted in form, texture, and intention. Their SS/25 collection speaks to a timeless design language we hold close: one that values restraint, honors craftsmanship, and embraces the dialogue between past and present. As we continue to shape spaces that speak quietly but powerfully, this collection stays with us as a lasting point of reflection.
